From the office to the RV life

I have to say I saw a shift in Brandon when we got into Wyoming. It seemed like he settled into life on the road. Brandon grew up tent camping and knew nothing about a fifth wheel trailer. He had a crash course in just a few days before we left for our first adventure. I was impressed with his determination and hard work to learn so much, so quickly. There is much to learn, and do, to keep up with a fifth wheel and he’s doing it! There’s already been some things that have come up to fix and learn about and again, I saw perseverance. I’m proud of how well he has done transitioning from the comforts of an office, to working remote in the great outdoors. We’ve had some hard moments already and some really great laughs as well. I definitely feel this experience is bringing us closer together in new ways as we see a different side of one another!

  1. The funny thing about life is that we learn about ourselves, good and not so good, when we are challenged and have to go outside of our comfort zone. It’s called growth. I admire the both of you for taking this incredible opportunity to show your beautiful boys what an amazing country we live in. The lessons they are learning are endless. Love and hugs to all of you❤️ Auntie

  2. Meghan, I can identify with all you said… I have lived this experience & it is a beautiful thing!! People think there is just fun, but we know the truth. This is hard work & hard play! The joy will be in your heart forever. One must accept that there will always be mechanical difficulties so we learn to accept this. We are not shocked when the toilet overflows or the tires have a leak! It really does take persistence & perseverance, but sooo worth it!!
Just prayed for you dear friend, as always, I hold you up to the Lord for Joy & protection. I miss you very much & will await our time together on zoom or in person… You are joy to me 🙂
