Heber City, Utah

August 28th – September 3rd 2020

The drive from Hurricane to Heber City was beautiful. We stayed at Mountain Valley RV Park Resort. We fell in love with this RV park. It had a playground for the boys, a pool, basketball court, pickle ball court, a fitness center and great laundry facility. There were a lot of families and the boys had a nice grassy area to play frisbee. The boys went fishing multiple times at Deer Creek Reservoir. They were determined and got up early before school to try and catch some fish but no luck. We hiked and explored Stewart Falls near the Sundance Resort. The boys were troopers. Stewart Falls was beautiful, but, a bit of tricky terrain at times. We actually ended up taking a wrong turn back down the mountain and ended up 3 miles from our car! We were not real excited about walking back down to the car so Brandon hitched a ride with some nice folks. We also got to explore and hike in the Wasatch Mountains. We had some great food at Back 40 and Granny’s Burger/Shake joint. The bright moon filled the Utah sky at night with a warm breeze coming through the valley. Utah was absolutely beautiful at every stop. So many reminders of God’s amazing creation each and everyday!
